PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING

Our injection molding equipment features robotic grippers and automation, which ensures consistency and repeatability.

At GIA our goal is to bring your molding ideas to market with our one-stop design and manufacturing capabilities.

OUR INJECTION MOLDED PLASTIC CAPABILITIES

Plastic injection molding uses high-pressure injection of melted plastics or resins into custom-designed molds to produce solid plastic parts and components. This highly versatile method is used for the production of a variety of products made from a broad selection of plastic materials compounds.

Compared to other plastic manufacturing processes, plastic injection molding offers several advantages, including higher precision parts and the facilitation of more cost-effective high-volume runs.

At GIA we have opted to use Polypropylene and ABS plastic materials for durability, elasticity, transmissivity, and insulating properties, however not restricted.

OTHER INJECTION MOLDED PLASTIC CAPABILITIES

GIA is well equipped to accommodate all plastic injection molding needs.
As of 2021, GIA owns 16 injection molding machines, ranging from 120 Ton machines to 3300T machines.
GIA favors polypropylene and ABS material products but is not limited to them having produced products for other industries, such as stadium chairs, DVD covers, mining equipment and plastic drawers.

WHY CHOOSE US

As GIA is an ISO 9001:2015 accredited company with a roadmap to IATF:16949, systems and quality is a priority of GIA.
Our professional technical team will help you optimize the structure of your product to improve performance and increase quality at competitive rates. The result is a significant reduction in time and cost.

OUR INJECTION MOLDING CAPABILITIES

Name
Description
Single cavity molds
Molds containing only one cavity, producing one unit per run
Molds with side-action cores
Cores slide out of the part from the side before it is ejected from the mold. This allows for undercuts to be molded.
Multi-cavity molds
Multiple identical cavities are machined into the mold tool. This allows for more parts to be produced per shot, minimizing the unit costs.
Family Molds
Several parts are designed into the same mold tool. This allows for the minimization of tooling costs.
Customization on labelling and packaging
Relies on multiple scientific methods, analytical tools and molding process technologies to meet the precision and performance requirements for complex plastic components.
